Shipping policy

The HOB ZA is proudly partnered with Bob Go as our shipping partner. Bob Go connects with all of the most trusted courier companies in South Africa to get our customers the best deals for delivery. 

When will my order be shipped?

Not all of our stock is based in one location. This means that there is sometimes a short handling period before your unit is ready to be shipped. You can see how long this period is on the product page underneath the order quantity. See below:


How long does delivery take?

Once the unit has been shipped you can expect the standard delivery times of your selected courier.

  • For most economy services you can expect delivery in 2-4 business days for main regions and 3-5 business days for regional or outlying areas. 
  • There are express services available for an additional fee; you can expect delivery times of 1-2 days for these services. 
  • If you select a Bob Box or Pargo pickup point the orders should be ready for collection within 2-3 days for Bob Box and 3-5 days for Pargo.
  • Orders booked for collection from our office in CPT will be ready as soon as they have been picked or transferred which is usually 1-3 days. *Please do not come and collect until you have received the ready for pickup communication.

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping on all orders over R2000.

If your order is less than R2000 then shipping will depend on the size of your order and the shipping service selected. Shipping will be automatically calculated at checkout and you can select the cheapest, fastest or easiest option that best suits you. 

  • Local economy delivery in Cape Town starts from as little as R65 depending on the size of your order
  • Main zone economy delivery starts from as little as R88 depending on the size of your order
  • Regional zone economy delivery starts from as little as R101 depending on the size of your order
  • Pargo pickup ranges from R80 to R200
  • Bobbox pickup ranges from R49 to R109

We also offer free collection from our office in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. 

How do the pickup options work?

  • Bobbox: with Bobbox you can select a locker or counter anywhere across South Africa for your order to be delivered to. Once delivered you are free to collect it anytime that suits you within a 48 hour window from when it arrives at the locker or counter.   • Pargo: with Pargo you can have your order delivered to one of over 4000 Pargo pickup points nationwide. This allows you to collect your order from a local store in your area at a time that best suits you. This is great for convenience and for customers based in hard to reach places that would otherwise incur additional courier fees. See Pargo Points at the link below: https://pargo.co.za/find-a-store/
  • If you are collecting from our office in Cape Town you must please wait until you have received a ready for pickup email. Please note our office's opening hours: Monday - Thursday: 8am-5pm, Fridays: 8am-2pm, weekends and public holidays: closed.
