The smart light switch supports Matter-over-Thread and Zigbee, ensuring compatibility with major third-party platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant. In Zigbee mode, users can access the full range of Aqara Home features, including MARS Tech and LED indicator customization.

Compatibility is not an issue with the Smart Wall Light Switch, which supports both neutral and no-neutral wiring for simplified installation. However, features like power monitoring and overload protection are available only with neutral wiring. (Note: These features may be unavailable in some third-party Matter ecosystems.)

The switch includes 2 electrical switch and 4 wireless switches, enabling sophisticated and technically impressive automations when paired with other Aqara products. For the top button, you can disable its physical control of the relay, allowing it to function like the decoupled buttons below for triggering scenes or automations

The Aqara Smart Light Switch H2 EU supports all standard 55 mm x 55 mm modular switch systems. It’s also compatible with third-party multi-gang frames, like Gira System 55 and Merten M. This widely accepted frame size ensures easy integration with existing infrastructure.

This smart switch supports remote control, scheduling, voice commands, and integration with other smart devices for seamless Smart Home automation.
