The JCD382 ULTRADRIVE MINIDOCK can be used with the MacBook Pro 13"/15" 2016/2017/2018/2019 and MacBook Air 2018/2019. The dock gives you the ability to keep a Thunderbolt 3 port and add several standard connections. The connections include, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, 4K HDMI , USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A x2 and a USB 3.0 microSD and SD card reader/writer through the two Thunderbolt 3 male connectors on the other side of the dock.

Thunderbolt 3 uses the USB-C connector to deliver faster speeds (40 Gbps), more pixels (two 4K) and higher power (up to 100W) via more supported protocols (Thunderbolt , USB , DisplayPort and PCIe).
