The TP-Link EAP783 is a ceiling-mounted, tri-band access point designed for high-density network environments. It uses the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard to deliver combined speeds of up to 19 Gbps. The device operates across three bands, providing 11520 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, 5760 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, and 1376 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Key Wi-Fi 7 features include 320 MHz channel support, 4K-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) to increase data throughput and reduce network latency. Connectivity is handled by dual 10 Gbps PoE++ ports, which supply both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. The EAP783 integrates with the Omada Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform, allowing for centralised management of the network through a single interface. Its ceiling mount design facilitates discreet installation in professional settings such as offices, schools, and hospitality venues.
