Ubiquiti's NBE-M5-16 is an airMAX M series 5GHz radio with a 16dBi antenna. It is designed as a lightweight, cost-effective, short-distance CPE (client premises equipment), PtP (point to point) or PtMP (point to multipoint) access point solution. It can be managed via the UISP network management platform.

• LED Alignment Metrics: Features bright physical signal-strength lights on the rear panel, letting you rough-align the link physically without needing to check software. 
• Laptop Web Setup: Lacks a built-in Bluetooth or management Wi-Fi chip. Configuration requires plugging a laptop directly into the PoE block and loading the classic browser interface.
• Bridge Only: Does not push out standard hotspot signals for consumer laptops or mobile smartphones; it connects strictly with other legacy airMAX M series radios.
